Two Became One

It was  memorable and stress free Hawaii wedding ceremony for Rachel and Benjamin, on August 18, 2018 on the sandy dunes  of  Waialae Beach Park. Rachel began their Hawaii wedding and honeymoon plans  ten months ago and chose the beautiful Hawaii wedding location at Waialae Beach Park. Along with our Big Fat Hawaiian wedding package, it was a perfect venue combination.  She had everything she wanted and added a few more extras.

Two limousines brought the bridal party and their loved ones on this sunny and but cool tradewind day. Aloha greetings with ukulele music greeted them, along with Reverend Michael Nelson and the photo/video crew. Gorgeous Rachel and handsome Benjamin, dressed in such stylish white wedding fashion. A beautiful elegant deluxe white bouquet to high light Rachel’s fashion. The gift of Aloha from Rachel and Ben to their loved ones, were kukui nut leis, and floral orchid leis.  This day 8/18/18 is one of the special day for

Hawaii weddings chosen by wedding couples this year. Cameras are ready to capture this special day to create the beginning of their love story. They walk down the white bridge for the last time as two, when they cross back after the wedding, they will do so as one.  Sounding of the conch, singing of the Hawaiian wedding song, binding of their lives together with a Hawaiian sand ceremony began the ceremony bringing tearful emotional vows of marriage. Beautiful white double orchid leis were exchanged as gifts of Aloha.  A Hawaiian love song was dedicated to the new Benjamin and Rachel by our singer.Congratulations and Mahalo for sharing your Hawaii wedding with us.

On May 3, 2018, a life time of memories for the Hawaii wedding of Linda and Austin of Illinois. Linda used our wedding planning service and were delighted with the no stress beautiful wedding ceremony. She chose the peninsula of Waialae Beach near the Kahala hotel, next to the ocean and the beautiful panoramic view of Koko head. From the selection of our Hawaii wedding packages, she chose the Paradise package and added harp music, extra limousine service for her guests and extra leis of different types like maile and pikake. Beautiful Linda arrived via limousine. Her loving Mom stylishly dressed and her Dad in formal military uniform ready to give away their daughter to Austin.

Austin arrived early dressed in blue wearing a maile pikake lei, waited with Reverend Mike and his best man at the altar. Our camera crew prepared to capture the memories of this special day. The sound of the conch, Mom proceeds round the corner holding two yellow plumeria leis, the beautiful sound of the harp playing the Hawaiian wedding song. Here comes the bride holding a beautiful white bouquet, escorted by her father.  Austin sees his beautiful bride for the first time that day.

A happy couple smiling and laughing were supported by many of their loved ones smiling along with them. A memorable Hawaii wedding ceremony they will forever cherish. A wonderful thing happened as they became husband and wife, exchanging plumeria leis as a gift of Aloha. Everyone gasped with surprise as a school of small fishes went leaping out of the water, three times  making a half circle around the peninsula. We considered it a good omen for the new Austin and Linda. A Hawaii wedding beautifully captured for a lifetime of memories. Linda’s Mom ended up the winner of the bouquet toss.  Thoughts of Hawaii weddings, Mom. Congratulations and Mahalo to Linda and Austin.

A Beautiful, Emotional Hawaii Wedding

So much love, they started hugging and kissing as they stepped out of their limousine. She cried throughout their Hawaii wedding ceremony, he kept his cool until he said “I DO”, then they both cried with happiness. The Hawaii wedding of Jennifer S. and Charles O. was beautiful and memorable. Memories were captured with many photographs and video coverage. They even live streamed their Hawaiian ceremony to loved ones at home in Yucca Valley. This couple chose our Hawaii wedding package with many wedding ceremony goodies, starting the day with hair and makeup in their hotel room for Jennifer and a long limousine ride from Waikiki to the windward side, Waimanalo, Oahu. Dressed in formal wedding attire, they were greeted by Reverend Michael, with guitar music in the air and camera crews in action. A cascade bouquet of pink  and white roses, with cascades of white orchids highlighted her attire. We let our couples choose whether they desire to have a processional or not for their Hawaii wedding ceremony. Jen and Charles chose to walk in together down the white sandy aisle. Our minister blew his conch shell then guitar music with the song requested by the couple, John Legends “All About Me” beautifully sung by our singer.

Jennifer and Charles begin their journey to become one in heart and life. Beginning their lives together with the Hawaiian unity sand ceremony to combine their lives of yesteryears and their future. Smiling and crying Jennifer, tears did not stop until the very end of their ceremony.  This Hawaii wedding ceremony with beautiful vows and ring exchange concluding with the flower lei ceremony, will be forever treasured by the new Charles ad Jennifer. They enjoyed their photo and video shoot on the beautiful Hawaiian beach, as well as the wooded area of Sherwood Forest.  Holding their treasured decorative certificate of marriage, they prepared to enjoy the limousine ride,, sipping champagne along the eastern coast of Oahu. Dreams came true for a Hawaii wedding and honeymoon road trip throughout the United States. In far away and chilly United Kingdom, the loving engaged couple Anna and Eddie were in their planning stage of seeking a Hawaii wedding planner to help plan the Hawaii wedding part of their journey. Once they contacted us, we got to know each other by communicating on line. The wedding of Anna and Eddie at beautiful Waimanalo Bay Beach on March 22, 2018 was a dream come true, but staying at a B &B located on the North Shore of Oahu, the drive in took two hours to reach the windward side. Regardless, they were in great spirits greeted with the Aloha spirit of Rev. Mike Nelson and the wedding in Hawaii planners and crew. This happy and adventurous couple were comfortably dressed in European fashion.  They are enjoying everything about Hawaii since they arrived. Their long exciting 40 days road trip began in UK with two feet of snow on the ground flying to San Francisco, driving down the coastal shores of California to Los Angeles. They were impressed with the warm Pacific ocean and the Big Sur. Flying to Oahu for their Hawaii wedding ceremony is the highlight of this dream journey. They will continue their journey flying to Los Angeles and continue forward to Nevada and throughout the rest of the U.S.

A once in a lifetime journey as the newlyweds.  For Eddie and Anna their two hearts became one on this day March 22, 2018 with a beautiful Hawaiian ceremony officiated by Rev. Michael Nelson. The experience of a Hawaii wedding ceremony and the beauty of the Pacific ocean was overwhelming to them.  After the wedding ceremony, the afternoon will be celebrated by going snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. Looking forward to more exciting new adventures, they move forward as husband and wife. Congratulations and Mahalo for being such a delightful couple.

Hawaii Residents Enjoy Hawaii Weddings on the Beach

Hawaii church weddings are costly, just the church rental alone is over $1,000, adding the services of the minister, the photographic crew, flowers and bouquets, limousine service, hair and makeup and finally the reception can cost more then $30,000. In comparison, the Hawaii weddings of the destination kind can offer you many Hawaii wedding packages that are so much more intimate, family oriented and the cost is not even close to comparison with church weddings.

Hawaii-weddings-on-the-beachHawaii weddings on the beach do not cost you anything for the location, it is included in the package.  Some couples worry about the privacy factor on the beach, however, choosing a weekday for your wedding can create a more serene atmosphere. Choosing a weekend or a holiday as your wedding day is not advisable for a quiet wedding.  Many local Hawaii residents are now having beach weddings and are hiring Hawaii wedding planners to help them. Kaegil and Andrew are Hawaii residents, did just that.

They wrote to us saying “Thank you for helping to make our day special. Very much appreciated, Irene and Roger. Take care”. On January 27, 2018 was a weekend but with very few beachgoers. A beautiful quiet spot at Kahala Beach near a cove, created a privacy of sort.  A bunch of loved ones joined them to support  them on their special day, even bought along a beautiful wedding cake. Beautiful Kaegil in a champagne colored wedding dress has been friends with her bridesmaid since 2nd grade in Lahaina, Maui. Andrew dressed in black and maroon formals is originally from West Virginia, but resides in Hawaii serving our country.

A simple wedding with their love ones to witness their happiness and perhaps dinner with them to  celebrate, was their plan for their special day. A beautiful Hawaiian wedding ceremony by Reverend Mike, ending with the offering of the gift of Aloha. We introduce our happy couple, the Andrew and Kaegil of Honolulu.  By saving money on a beach destination type of wedding, they can spend more on other priorities of life in Hawaii.  Mahalo for having us.

Ever Us Hawaii weddings

Ever Us Hawaii weddings

Eloping?  Wedding and honeymoon combination in mind?  Destination weddings anyone? Hawaii is the perfect choice without  outrageous costs. Hawaii weddings and Hawaii vow renewals of all different levels are planned daily by the many Hawaii wedding planners to help make your special day a memorable one.  In our over 30 years of experience planning Hawaii weddings and Hawaii beach weddings, we have noticed the wedding trends change. Years ago, most of the wedding planning were initiated by the bride or the mother of the bride. Gradually, the groom and Dad’s got involved. We found this as a wonderful transition, the groom contacting the wedding planner, and shares the planning with his bride.  Many of our Hawaii weddings are planned by the groom. The young men stationed in Hawaii serving the military are very much involved with the planning of their weddings since their brides do not reside in Hawaii yet.  Over all, more grooms are very involved in their wedding planning. We share two beautiful Hawaii wedding stories which took place on the white sandy beach of Waimanalo Bay, Sherwood Forest. These weddings were planned by the grooms with our help and beautiful memories were created.

The wedding of Kristen and Calvin, December 12, 2017, with limousine service, the Plumeria Plus Hawaii wedding package was the choice.  Arriving together with their love ones, a happy group of ten, Kristen and Calvin radiated with happiness.  They greeted Reverend Mike with a handshake as they stepped out of their limo. Kristen was beautiful in a white stylish gown and Calvin was looked great in gray trousers with white shirt. A princess in the making, as Reverend Mike helped Calvin with the Haku head lei for the bride. Multicolored beautiful floral Haku head lei, a crown of pink, orange and green flowers.

We present to you, our Hawaiian princess bride, Kristen.  Waimanalo Bay Beach, the beautiful location of many Hawaii weddings will begin the “forever us” for Calvin and Kristen. Dad walks his daughter down the aisle as her Mom wipes tears from her eyes. Their love ones supporting them with love and smiles. A beautiful Hawaiian ceremony by Reverend Mike with conch blowing, unity sand ceremony and lei exchange. Most important of all were their beautiful vows to each other and ring exchange. As they were pronounced the new Calvin and Kristen, they walked back up the aisle and did a dance dip. Everyone laughed and cheered with joy. A memorable wedding ceremony.  Champagne bubbling in the limousine, as they enjoyed their ride back to their vacation rental. Congratulations and Mahalo for having us.

December 19, 2017 for Marlea and Ed of Ohio, a Hawaii wedding at Waimanalo Bay Beach with our Plumeria Package, arriving on two black SVUs with their family and love ones. Ed’s thoughts of Hawaii weddings and honeymoons became a reality when he contacted us to help him plan their special day.  Hawaii’s chill in the air and forecast of rain did not bother Marlea and Ed, it was heaven compared to the cold in Ohio. Beautiful Marlea held a bouquet specially made by a friend, yellow clusters of orchid with heirloom ancestral photos. Everyone received a lei of orchids and the guys kukui nut leis. Clouds showed rain was coming, we had to beat the rain. Everyone was happy and excited, Marlea’s son and daughter, Ed’s brother and family, a friend playing the guitar. Reverend Mike presented a beautiful wedding ceremony for the new Ed and Marlea. After the papers were signed and the photos were taken, the rain came. A good luck omen for the Hawaii wedding of Ed and Marlea. Congratulations and thank you for having us.

Thank you for sharing your special day of Hawaii weddings and Hawaii vow renewals

For us, half of our business is planning Hawaii weddings and the other half is planning Hawaii vow renewals. On this Thanksgiving week, we share four recent wedding stories, thanking these lovely couples for sharing their special day with us.

Celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary, Alyssa and Jonathan of Austin, Texas flew to Hawaii for a second honeymoon. On second thought, why not have a Hawaii vow renewal also. This beautiful and vibrant couple got married in Jamaica in October 2012. They like the outdoors and enjoy the beach scene and a Hawaii beach vow renewal seemed like a perfect fit for them. Choosing the Plumeria package and Waialae Beach location, they enjoyed a memorable Hawaii vow renewal ceremony by Rev. Mike Nelson. In Jamaica, they did not have a sand ceremony, so our Hawaiian unity sand ceremony was a new and enjoyable experience for them. Renewing of vows and enjoying the lei exchange, they were pronounced the new renewed Jonathan and Alyssa. They happily returned home and are enjoying their many beautiful photos. Thank you and congratulations.

Celebrating their forty-first wedding anniversary, was loving couple Bob and Cindy Nicolas of Oswego, Illinois on November 6, 2017. Today is their anniversary, at this time 3:00 pm they married in a Catholic Church in Chicago. They chose Magic Island as their vow renewal location and enjoyed the Magic Island experience tremendously. They are so in love, Bob kept sneaking kisses with Cindy. A beautiful Hawaii vow renewal ceremony by Rev. Mike Nelson on a beautiful Hawaiian day. Simple ceremony but so much love. Forty-one years and going strong. Mahalo, to these youngsters.

From Australia to Hawaii, Melissa and Jason wanted to get married quietly and decided to look for someone to plan their Hawaii wedding, and luckily for us, they found a liking to what we offer. These very tall and good looking love birds decided to have their wedding ceremony at Magic Island. She was so lovely in a stylish cream colored dress and he looked great in white shirt and khaki trousers. A beautiful Hawaiian wedding ceremony by Reverend Mike, featuring the blowing of the conch, and floral lei exchange as a gift of Aloha. They became the new Jason and Melissa with their vows of ” I will love you forever” on November 13, 2017. Aloha and Mahalo for sharing your special day with us.

A babymoon instead of a honeymoon. Denae and Michael of Utah found out they were pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. They moved up their wedding/honeymoon from 2018 to a Hawaii wedding and a quick babymoon. On November 13, 2017 at Magic Island the 4-of-them arrived smiling happily. A wonderful couple we enjoyed getting to know helping them begin a new life together. Hawaii weddings on the west side of Magic Island with ocean background and the sandy beaches of Ala Moana beach park, creates a feeling of being part of the city of Honolulu. Denae looked like a Hawaiian Princess with a beautiful flower haku head lei, her Michael with a maile leaf lei stood beside her, as her Prince. Reverend Mike Nelson married them together as a family of four. A new life begins Congratulations and thank you for being with on this important day.

A thank you from A wedding in Hawaii for sharing your Hawaii weddings and Hawaii vow renewals with us. Aloha!

Hawaii Weddings, Dreams Come True

hawaii-wedding-ceremony

The largest gift of Hawaii weddings are the memories preserved by the captured photo images and video of the beautiful Hawaii wedding ceremony. The gift next to those memories is the gift of Aloha from the people of Hawaii, not tangible but very heartfelt. Most of our couples who are interested in having Hawaii beach weddings know what kind of Hawaii wedding packages they want. It creates a easier planning field for any Hawaii wedding planner. For most couples a trip to Hawaii and having their dream Hawaiian wedding ceremony is a once in a lifetime dream come true. Helping couples choose the best Hawaii wedding locations and time of day to suit them can be challenging. Photographically we recommend certain times of the day for each location we provide.

Our couple today chose Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park with historic Diamond Head as the background. They decided on 5:00 in the afternoon which provided enough lighting for good images. Some couples request sunset, but we do not recommend sunset weddings for good photographic coverage. For that one shot of a sunset? Diana and Bob was so happy with their late afternoon wedding without the sunset. There is this feeling of happiness, with warm smiles and laughter from our couple as they became husband and wife. This is our reward of Aloha for our Hawaii weddings.

Diana and Bob after a long dating relationship, 12 wonderful years, she finally said “Yes”. October 26 is a significant date for them, the anniversary of their special day when it all began. The long awaited Hawaii wedding of Diana and Bob on October 26, 2017 began with the arrival of the bride and groom on a white limousine greeted by the Reverend Michael Nelson. Beautiful bride, perfection of her hair and makeover artist, wore a stylish white bridal gown.

The groom, stylishly dressed, with the addition of his hat. A hat for every occasion is Bob’s passion. Diana loves the bright color of orange and it was a must for her Hawaii wedding day. Her nails were colored orange, her french bouquet was gorgeous with large blooming orange roses. A picture of a loving couple as they strolled hand in hand along the bay, on the way to their beach altar. Their dream is about to begin with a Hawaiian wedding ceremony.

Bob and Diana, relaxed and happy, listened to the distinct sound of the conch shell blown by Reverend Mike. It is an indication of the beginning of an important occasion. All the memories of their years together blended and became one life forever. It is this very special moment, as they say their vows of I will love you forever, that will never be forgotten. The new Bob and Diana have been together for so long that this is a extra special day for them. Hawaii weddings can be a dream come true. Congratulations and Mahalo for having us.
