26th Anniversary Vow Renewal Ceremony

Our congratulations and Mahalo goes to a very sweet couple from San Diego, California. Luis (Alex) and Patricia (Patty). Enjoying a Hawaii vow renewal ceremony seemed like a beautiful thought, to reaffirm their love of 25 years. On May 6, 2004, at their church in San Diego, they vowed to be each others partner in life forever. Excited and happy, they arrived at Magic Island early for their 4 pm ceremony.

We found them to be a nice, gentle fun to be with couple. She looked beautiful in a dress similar to a Hawaiian print, he in walking shorts and long sleeve shirt, creating a youthful couple. Greeted by our Reverend Michael Nelson, a immediate friendship developed between Patty, Alex and our crew. A simple Hawaiian ceremony was enjoyed with some tears of happiness. Blowing of the conch by Reverend welcomed them to Magic Island and their intimate ceremony.

The vows were not the same as 25 years ago, but the meaning were the same. This Hawaii vow renewal ceremony for Alex and Patty was very special to them and made them feel so very close to each other. This joyful couple will celebrate at Rocky’s at Hilton Hawaiian Village and enjoy their honeymoon around Oahu island.

Buffy and Daryl have been together for a while, deciding to get married was a natural thing to do. For her, beautiful ivory wedding gown from David’s Bridal and for him, black trousers with a vest, and ivory white long sleeve shirt. Strolling on the sandy beach, they enjoyed the beautiful blue ocean, skies so clear that they could see the next two islands in the Hawaiian island chain. Beneath the shade of coconut trees, Reverend Michael Nelson gave them a romantic intimate wedding ceremony they will forever cherish.  Hawaiian conch blowing, unity sand ceremony, and exchange of flower leis, the gift of Aloha were incorporated into the traditional marriage vows and ring exchange. The new Daryl and Buffy will celebrate  with a Luau show at Sea Life Park. Congratulations and Mahalo to the  happy newlyweds, Buffy and Daryl.

Their dreams came true, a wedding in Hawaii, Hawaii wedding ceremony in the sand for Allison and Vicki from Australia. It was a beautiful sunny and clear day on May 7, 2019 at Waialae Beach park, with the sight of the island of Molokai in the distance horizon. The exciting day started with hair and makeup for the couple before dressing into their wedding attire. The limousine picked the bridal party and friends at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, driving around Diamond Head to their wedding location. Vicki and Allison were beautiful smiling happily and were greeted warmingly by ukulele music, minister Reverend Leah, and our photo/video crew. Presentation of a cascade bouquet made of bright red roses in the bloom for Allison matching her ivory colored wedding gown. Toes in the sand and heart shaped petals at the altar were the plan. However, due to the wind, the petals would not stay. Petals were given to guest to toss at the end of the ceremony. But toes in the sand, it was with Allison and Vicki walking up barefoot in the sand to the altar. Singer, Dereck and Reverend Leah sang the Hawaiian wedding song as a duet, as the couple walked toward them. A very joyful intimate wedding ceremony with a twist of Hawaiian wedding traditions included with the Vows and ring exchange. White double orchid leis were exchanged as a gift of Aloha, before they were pronounced as the new Allison and Vicki. Ukulele and love songs rang above the cheers of their loved ones. After all the photo and video sessions were complete, a champagne limousine ride was enjoyed back to their hotel. Vicki and Allison will celebrate their Hawaii wedding at Dukes in Waikiki. Caitlin and Adam – Our Hawaii Wedding

For Caitlin and Adam, their Hawaii beach wedding was the happiest day of their lives.  On April 12, 2019 Adam realized they had a limousine service and a personal ukulele player for their special day along with all the other beautiful things that creates a Hawaii wedding filled with forever memories. The happy enthusiastic couple arrived at Waimanalo Bay Beach in their limousine greeted by our minister, singer and photo/video crew.

Changing into their stylish wedding attire, and taking in the venue of their love of pine trees, mountains with the beautiful sand and ocean. The mile long beach was nearly empty as Reverend Michael Nelson welcomed the bride and groom by blowing the conch.  The ukulele singer with his rendition of the Hawaiian wedding song, led Caitlin and Adam to the sandy altar. The flowers for the bouquet and leis were colorful and matched the bright personalities of the couple. The memorable Hawaiian wedding ceremony with the unity sand ceremony and traditional orchid lei exchange were added to their emotional vow and ring exchange. 

The talented Adam ended up playing the ukulele tuning on the song Over the Rainbow. The new and exciting Adam and Caitlin celebrated by popping open their champagne bottle, got into their limousine for the beautiful coastal ride as Mr. and Mrs. Congratulations and Mahalo for sharing your day with us! On March 6, 2009 young Alix and Jason got married right across the street from their home at a Lutheran Church. During their years of marriage, they enjoyed family life with their two children.
